Upskilling is the only option available right now.
That's a top one definitely. There are a couple of others that I'll bring up in the follow up post.
I hope some people read this before they are laid off, so it might prepare them more for it. It’s almost an inevitability today and I know how much of a shock it can be. Your advice is spot on.
